Dear Jane,
I don't know if you have been reading the newspaper last week, so I will tell you myself: there have been two murders and I saw both killings.
On Christmas, I was on a bus that was practically empty. There was an old woman sitting on the first seat (I couldn't stop staring at her, she seemed to have undergone some serious surgery on her head and had been able to return on her own -- for some strange reason) and some others at the back row. So, I was really glad that the middle seat (the one that's on top of the left wheel) was empty, waiting for me.
Everything seemed to be peaceful, there wasn't loud music (or noises) and everyone looked sleepy. Except for the driver.
At first sight, his face scared me. He had small eyes and the face like that of a Bulldog (with floppy cheeks). Of course, there is always a reason for our emotions, but I didn't care much about his appearance. Until later.
All of a sudden, the bus swerved really hard! The old lady fell off her seat and landed on the floor in a frightening position. It looked as if the bus driver had done it on purpose, for he continued driving despite that this woman had blood coming out of her head. We all started screaming, in panic. One man, that was at the back, went running towards the driver and, due to his rage, murdered him and stopped the bus. I was shocked.
Meanwhile, a woman called an ambulance. They were really fast! But, when they arrived, the old lady was already dead.
Now it's been about a week since that incident. I am going on a regular basis to a psychologist and using this anecdote to write my first novel on serial killers.
I don't know your opinion about this, but I believe that old people shouldn't travel buy bus. Everyone finds them irking even if they're silent.
Well, I believe this is it. I hope you have a wonderful weekend despite my letter.
Best wishes,
Elizabeth.
P.S.: nobody knows anything about the man who murdered the driver.
