Randomness

It all started when I was 12. That's an age when a girl's period starts (one would say the age when a girl becomes a "woman" - an age that mothers are generally proud of). Well, that was not the case . . . at least for me.

The first months of my period, I used to wake up in a pool of blood. My legs felt sticky because of it (even using the female-products one uses to prevent "over-flooding").

What my mother did (instead of explaining things in a friendly way) was to grab a panty and show it to my father and sisters, screaming and yelling about how I shouldn't "over-flood" them by changing myself more often.

Well, certain situations burn inside our minds forever. This was one of them. Bare with me if you're brave enough to continue reading.
